Itinerary
You will be picked up from the hotel at 7:30 am. Thereafter, you will depart for Masai Mara with the first stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. This is a perfect place to be in the early morning and evening. You will watch the enthralling Rift Valley with its vast vegetation and the sun rays kissing the far and wide stretching mountains in the surrounding. The Great Rift Valley has been reckoned as a wonder of the world. It stretches from the Middle East, passing through Africa, and has a significant presence in the East African region. It ends in Mozambique in the south.
Thereafter, you will proceed to the Masai Mara for lunch. Check in and unwind from your travels. Dinner and overnight are at your lodge.
After breakfast, you will proceed on a full-day game drive. The Masai Mara is situated in southwest Kenya and is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular ecosystems and possibly the world’s top safari big-game viewing ecosystem. The Mara's gentle, fertile climate, bounded by the Rift, offers perhaps the richest stocked reserve set within some 1,672 sq km - an unlimited spectacle of wildlife. Herds of immense elephants browse among lions, buffalo, Thompson's gazelle, zebra and topi. You may occasionally sight a black rhino. In the Mara River, hippos play and crocodiles bask on the banks. The annual migration of a million wildebeest follows the rains north.
After exploring the park, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
On the third day of the safari, you will be picked up from the hotel after breakfast. The guide will brief you about the safari as you embark on a 3- to 4-hour trip to Lake Nakuru National Park. When you arrive at the park, you will check into your lodge, eat lunch, and relax as you unwind from your travels.
An early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park offers breathtaking views of the lake and incredible birdwatching opportunities. Spot rhinos, flamingos, baboons, and more. After breakfast, depart for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at Nairobi CBD.
